Feral Photographer

I've been sitting there for hours, waiting for the perfect shot. I've watched many trains pass the bridge just as the clouds passed the sky. And I had lots of time to chill &daydream. I Imagined sitting there as Skimbo, watching, hearing and feeling this scene with a dragon's devine senses. Feel the wind slowly play with my mane and at one point just fly away. Another cloud covered the scene when suddelny I noticed a hole in the clouds getting closer tothe bridge while I also heared a train coming closer on it's way up the steep pass route. I got ready again, checked my camera, sat there and wait. This would be perfect. Spotlight. YES!. I knew that this was the shot I've been waiting for. Now I could fly........ No. Just hike.   back to the station to get home. Stand up. Go a few steps. Look back. No, still no dragon there. I would have to continue my boring human life and come back here or search for similar places, one day, to dream again.... to be free. But this image burnt itself inside my mind. I just had to draw it.



This might be my most accurate "dragon-self" portrait I ever managed to draw. Me and my camera. Sitting on one of my favorite spots. Trainspotting on one of my favorite routes. In the Alps. As dragon. The only thing which could improve this was finally finding a girlfriend to enjoy this secene together. And cuddle, joke, laugh, draw wit her. Another dream. Loneliness.
